Stobart Rail & Civils become Business Ambassadors
A Carlisle based charity has launched a new and exciting way for businesses to help the care, support and activities they provide to local people with life limiting illnesses.
Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice’s Business Ambassadors scheme allows businesses to support the charity from as little as £365, just £1 a day. In return for the company’s generous support they will receive a range of benefits, including priority access to hospice events and sponsorship opportunities, corporate volunteering opportunities and much more.
The first company to join the hospice’s Business Ambassadors scheme is Stobart Rail & Civils. Managing Director Kirk Taylor said, “I have been to the Hospice a few times now, met the team and have seen first-hand the amazing work carried out there. We are very proud to be Business Ambassadors and consider each one of our staff members a representative. This is a cause we are delighted to support”

The money donated by Stobart Rail & Civils and future Business Ambassadors will allow Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw to provide the highest standards of care, support and activities to local adults and children with life limiting illnesses. This care and compassion is extended to all the patients’ family, friends and carers.
